Talk to your Urologist about Bladder Cancer

The bladder is a hollow organ in the lower abdomen that stores urine until it is passed out of the body.
Anyone can get bladder cancer, no matter what is the age, gender or race.
Smoking or tobacco chewing increases the risk of bladdercancer.
The most common sign of bladder cancer is blood in the urine.
Bladder cancer is often diagnosed at an early stage when the cancer is easier to treat.
Most of the cases are managed endoscopically( without any incision/stitches).

Always remember few points:
1) Avoid any kind of tobacco use (chewing/ smoking/ toothpaste containing tobacco).
2) Don`t ignore early symptoms like difficulty in urination, repeated episode of urinaryinfection and passing blood in urine.
3) Always consult a urologist in time when symptoms appear so that disease can be managed at an early stage.

A 65-year-old male presented with the complaint of bloodinurine. On evaluation diagnosed as an earlystage bladder cancer, helped to manage the case successfully with endoscopicsurgery.
